AAP’s formula for Congress over nominees won’t work in MP: Survey

New Delhi, June 27 : Even as the AAP has urged the Congress to not field candidates against it in Delhi and Punjab, in return it will not field nominees against Congress in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, the ABP-CVoter Opinion Poll on Tuesday predicted that 41.3 per cent of the respondents feel that such formula will not work in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh.

According to the survey, which was carried out with a sample size of 17,113 between May 26 and June 26 in all the 230 Assembly in the state, 41.3 per cent people feel that such a formula will not work in the state.

The survey said that 35.3 per cent respondents feel that such a formula might work, while 23.5 per cent said that they cannot comment on it.

Among the BJP supporters, 50.1 per cent respondents feel that such a formula of AAP will not work while 27.3 per cent feel otherwise.

The survey highlighted that among the Congress supporters, 42.3 per cent fee that such a strategy might work, while 34.4 per cent feel otherwise, and 23.4 per cent said that they cannot comment/don’t know.

The AAP had dethroned Congress in Punjab and also made a huge dent to it in Uttarakhand and Gujarat.
