May 11 : After making headlines for her stellar performance in The Kerala Story, actress Adah Sharma will feature in the film titled The Game of Girgit produced by Gandhar Films and Studio, also starring Shreyas Talpade in the lead role.
The film is loosely based on the infamous ‘Blue Whale Game’ which became an instant hit among the youth but also led to various hazardous events and deaths that took place due to the ‘The Blue Whale’ challenge.
Helmed by Vishal Pandya, the film will star Adah Sharma in an unconventional role wherein she’ll be headlining the role of a police officer in the film, which is inspired by true events.
Meanehile talking about her recent release, The Kerala Story, despite ongoing ban in certain states, the film has entered its fifth day of running successfully in cinema-halls.
Directed by Sudipto Sen and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, the film also stars Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani, and Siddhi Idnani. The plot follows the story of a group of women from Kerala who are converted to Islam and join the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
It was theatrically released on 5 May 2023, and has grossed over 56.86 crore, becoming the fifth-highest-grossing Hindi film of 2023.
